After spending 6 months teaching online classes with 1-2 students who rather stay on mute and unenroll after 2 weeks, I was questioning if I made the right choice quitting the classroom and wanting to teach online so I could stay home with my kids.
Instead of giving up, I dove into technology and found my students really loved playing digital games to practice the lesson material. Their cameras would stay on and they wanting to answer all of the questions even if they were unsure of their answer.
